Christmas Eve.
Okay. I'm in a bad/sad/angry (!) mood because of lots of little things that together, are not making me feel that happy.
1. I had my contacts appointment at the optometrist today...
But nope, because my eyes have deteriorated so much since my last appointment over a year ago, we need to get a different lens thingy for them. So now i have to wait until Jan 6 when my next appointment is to see if they'll be okay...
Okay... i can deal with that. Glasses for Christmas, again... Fine. I'm disappointed, but i'll survive.
2. Power went out for a second before, and i had to start the internet up again.
3. I KNOW tomorrow is going to be lame.
It always is.
I have spend the WHOLE day with my family. *shudder
You can choose your friends but you can't choose your family huh...
Okay... well, it's only once a year. We'll get through it...
4. I haven't seen my best online friend in ages. -_-
It's not really his fault cos i know he's been busy, but i just miss him so much. He means so much to me, more than anyone else in the world. I don't care if that's wrong. I just plain love him. And i miss him... so... so much...
5. Mum gave me the wireless router for Christmas...
I think it's the sort of model that won't fit in with what we've already got though.
Plug A into B. B is on C? No it's not! C doesn't have a B!! I must have the wrong sort of C...
If you know what i mean. If you don't, you get the idea anyway.
Everything we get fails...
I said to Mum "Kind of a bad year, huh..."
"Nah... Kind of a bad life."
Joy in my house...
We may have to get a different router.
6. Mum has a dental problem and has been in pain. And fucking hell, have i been hearing about it... Whenever she's in a bad mood, she always, always, always drags me down with her.
7. Doesn't sound like i'll be getting MY money which Mum BORROWED from ME over 6 months ago anytime soon.
8. It has been so fucking hot recently.
That's an Aussie Christmas for ya. Hot, dry, and full of flies, and also usually includes a bunch of hairy middle-aged blokes standing around a barbecue, having a beer. Woot...
9. I was trying to help out a person on msn earlier today, but every time i tried to make them feel better, even when i shared something that was very personal to me to try to relate to them, they would say something that pissed me off. For some reason it felt like he tried to make me feel bad for things i said.
Okay... Not worth my time. I shouldn't have even bothered.
BAH.
Well, i just had a look at some pics i photoshopped, and laughed my ass off. I'll post some of them before i post this.
I feel a little better already.
Anyways, it's always good to vent.
Don't whinge to me about me being a whiny little bitch. Don't forget it's my blog and i can say whatever i want.
And i haven't forgotten the good things in my life either, so there's still hope for me.
Merry Christmas. I can't wait til it's over. <3
Try and have fun everyone.

Oh, and by the way, this was my 99th post. Tomorrow will be #100. Dunno what i'll do for it...
I'd like to keep this untitled.

I'm sorry that so many things are dragging you down again. Whinge as much as you like. Shout, scream and holler (spelling ?) if it helps.
I hope 2009 is a huge improvement for you.

I have to christmas dinner with my family in about an hour. I'd prefer to work than go there but I have to :( Maybe it won't turn into big argue like last year.
Don't hurry with lenses, get best you can. At least you know you will get them. Same applies to router. You already have it, just need different model.
Maybe this little thing will make you feel at least little better? ---> *HUG*
I realize reading this post, that I need to use the word "blokes" more often :-)
Sorry things are a bit crappy! Are you doing anything special for new years eve? I guess new years eve isn't as important when you are still in high school
Much Love,
Steve
just have a laught with the family, everythin is funy when laugthing
as for the router, over here we have two kinds one for the phone line, dsl, but i think u call it adsl, and cable , one uses a phone line, and one doesnt.
take the wire that goes in the back of the computer, plug it in the router, take a ethernet cable and plug it in the back of the router again, it should in the port, then plug that back in the comp.
then for wirless u need a wirless card or doogle or somtthing on ur laptop, then search for ur wirless router.
then go back on ur comp , and set up internet connection, wat connection u got, and model of the router.
and its my comment, so i gonna say cheer up, i know ppl who look horrilb with glasses and i know u dont look worse than them,
then us the comp
Sorry Christmas looks so bleak.
I wish I could cheer you up, but I don't know what to say. I just hope it turns out somehow better than you expect.
*hugs*
Lot's of ppl feel this way at the holidays... just try to find the best in things!
Merry Christmas bud!

This too, shall pass. :]
Crap, we were talking last night, that wasn't me was it? Wait, it was only night my time...nm. :P I hope your friend realizes what a smart guy you are and listens to you.
hey mirror boy, i know things will get better for you with time, but ugh i know your sick of hearing that because i'm sick of reading it.
I can tell you that a few times i have been in crappy moods about things in my life and by talking to you i have been cheered up, and i don't think i've told you that.
The other night i was sitting in the living room chatting with you (the time i caught you alone and you actually talked to me haha)and my mom came in the room (I didn't notice) and she was just staring at me smiling so I asked her what and she said she's never seen me smiling when I'm online (I guess I dont smile much).
So while some might be trying to pull you down, some really appreciate talking to you and how it makes them feel better.
And the contact lens idea isn't dead yet, just a little set back, i'm sure you'll look smexy with them :)
Sorry this is so long, hope your christmas isn't as lame with the family and you find some positive.
hugs*

i should echo what courage said, there isn't a day i talk to you, mboy, that i am not happier and better for it. you are a bright light of encouragement and new hope for those of us that are from an older generation, where it is taking us longer to get our lives off the ground.
// …those of us that are from an older generation…//
Don't flatter yourself, James. That's not you in the older generation. You're easily young enough to be his brother and too young to be his father.
Not sure what difference it makes, but there it is.
A good does of Schadenfreude is what you need, ol' m8y! Have a read of this ... http://xthecouragex.blogspot.com/ ... and if you like to cook, and need refreshment while revelling in that germanic treat, look at this http://whatever.scalzi.com/2006/09/26/how-to-make-a-schadenfreude-pie/ ... so now I have to go and get ready for the barbecue with all the other 'hairy middle-aged blokes' - pity it's chucking down with rain - but it's sure to appeal to your sense of schadenfreude!
Happy Christmas m8 =]
1. Again, what's wrong with glasses? Sometimes they're sexy! XD Also, glasses won't fuse to your eyeballs in a chemistry lab like contacts sometimes will. o.O As long as I work in a lab, no contacts for me.
5. That sucks. :-/ Maybe you just need to fiddle around with it a bit longer?
I hope it won't be AS bad as you make it out to be. At the very least, I hope it's tolerable. For your 100th post you should post 100 little facts about yourself. I wager it's a bit more difficult than you'd think. ;-)
trying something new here - posting MY comment before reading the OTHER comments. so either i will have a completely unique comment, or i will wind up sounding like a repetitive jackass.
:)
1. sorry about the contacts - hopefully they can find the right ones for you
2. hate that. my 'puter takes about an hour to fire back up. I like how you say "i had to start the internet up again" - it makes me picture an evil mirrorboy with his finger on a giant switch controlling the whole world's connection, for some reason.
3. thats what holidays are for - i think they originally discussed "spending holidays with family" as one of the things in the Geneva Convention. just try not to stab anyone with a fork.
4. aww... i'm sure he knows it, and will be back in touch with you soon. (stay positive)
5. HOORAY !! Silly question, but... does your (other) computer have built-in wireless or a wireless add-on card? Its sort of like the traditional first HelpDesk question in reply to "my monitor won't work" = "is it plugged in?". If you need some basic advice on choosing a fashionable wireless router that won't clash with your curtains, let me know... :)
6. hope she feels better and gets off your back.
7. grrr. send her a bill every month until she does.
8. here in the USA we call that "Fourth Of July" - and add in explosives.
9. perhaps they were just really feeling bad, and it was a perception thing. but, i've heard you are great at helping people out, so your good deeds don't go unrewarded.
*hugs*
Merry Christmas!!
i'm back so why would you say that your best online friend is not around... wait a second!!!!
:-P
I love you man... and you bitch all you want... you are so damn adorable when you do... haha
Merry Christmas!
Peace,
AJ
u r so loved
Merry Christmas!!!!!!!
xoxo
Please I repeat please do not givw up trying to help people who are down just because they do not respond the way you think they should, even if we fail we must continue to try to help people.
Just remember you had a large influence on AJ and we are all greatfull to you for this.
As for your router, what kind if internet do you have, is it thru a cable carrier like cable TV, or thru the phone line? Phone line, Is it a DSL? or a dail up connection that mst call a phone # each time you want to use the internet?
There are many people online that can help you get the right modem and router combination for your type of connection.
I do not know what you believe as far as a higher power, but how ever just remember don't let the beliefs of others affect the way you feel.
I understand the hairy old men with their drinks around the BBQ.
I had this feeling for years til I became one of the middle aged men and then I stoped attending their BBQ'S. What a relief.
We all hope your mum gets to feeling better and stops being such a pain, of at least a pain to you.
Keep your chin up Christmas will be over soon, and we all hope thing will be much better.
"HUGS"
JACK
