So, after a successful visit to the optometrist, and half-an-hour of frustration in the bathroom and a pair of very sore and tired eyes, guess who's wearing contacts? ^_^
It still feels a bit uncomfortable, kind of like having an eyelash in your eye. And they've been watering-up a bit, but they've only been in for about 15 minutes.
I can see fine. In fact, my eyes had changed so i can actually see better than when i was wearing glasses.
How i feel right now is beyond words. This meant so much to me. And i got it.
I'd like to keep this untitled.

Just make sure you follow cleaning, disinfecting procedures carefully - and don't wear them too long. Especially wash yer hands after wanking, before handling..err.. lenses.

Yeah don't throw away your glasses. My brother lost his glasses then damaged his contacts somehow. He had to buy glasses again. He stayed with the glasses instead of buying contacts because he liked them better.

When I first started wearing contacts, they hurt like a bitch too haha. Now I can touch my eye and stuff without it bothering me. Weird how your body can adjust over time eh?
btw whats your vision reading? idk if its different than the US system of measuring though...

Congrats on the contacts. They're the soft kind, right? Give them a couple of days and they won't feel so strange. Be conscientious about cleaning them (and cleaning your fingers before handling them). Of course the optometrist has told you that too, but it's really important -- eye infections are nasty.

I would like to share some advice with you. Do not put your contacts on anywhere near your cats. From personal experience, I can tell you it is not fun.
