Well...

I really don't have anything interesting to post about these days. :(

The major thing in my life right now, even though it's always on my mind, i can't post about, because some people who know me in real life know about my blog and i'd prefer them not knowing about it.

So that kinda sucks. I wish i could be anonymous again, but i can't, now that people know who i am.

I've got nothing to post about.

love

The only way to regain your anonymity is to move to a large city. That is, a very large city, because you'd be surprised how your associations will shrink your world even in an urban environment. The proverbial six degrees of separation will shrink to two or three when you are in a particular social set or profession.

Mboy,

I hope you can find a friend to help you with this. I've taken pretty much a passive role in blogging, but if you need to run something by me you can. If its something I can help you with, I will.

Love ya,
Mike H

Awww. :(

Anonymity is such a commodity these days. If you ever feel like talking about it, I'm always happy to lend an ear. :)

If it's something that you feel better writing about, just do a dummy blog that no one knows that it's you at. Or do one at Milkboys under a psuedonym maybe? And then there's always what Aek said, you've got cyberfriends out here that would love to lend an ear. Maybe there's someone you trust and have faith in to confide with? I hope if nothing else best wishes from all of us helps.

Ditto for what the other fellows said, Sethboyardee's Awkward Instant Messaging Help Line is available.

*hugs* - don't get stuck in a rut - maybe a short break or decreasing the frequency of posts for a while will help you focus.

PS: I hope everything else is going allright.

One mans nothing is another mans something so we've never actually not doing or saying anything interesting.

I think that the only real way to regain the anonymity you had when you started blogging is to shut down and restart under a new identity - would be a pain for everyone to follow you, but it could be beneficial for your own peace of mind in the long run.

At least you know you have real friends in your life in some forms or other.

I know that problem. My blog is read by my neighbours. That prohibits certain content.

What happened to the music links at the bottom of your posts? I loved to explore them.

this is your own private world.

Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900): "Everything that is profound loves the mask; the profoundest things have a hatred even of figure and likeness. A man who has depths in his shame melts his destiny and his delicate decisions upon paths which few ever reach, and with regard to the existence of which his 'nearest' and most 'intimate' friends may be ignorant. His mortal danger conceals itself from their eyes and equally so his regained security. Such a hidden nature, which instinctively employs speech for silence and concealment, and is inexhaustible in evasion of communication, desires and insists that a mask of himself shall occupy his place in the hearts and heads of his friends; and supposing he does not desire it, his eyes will some day be opened to the fact that there is nevertheless a mask of him there - and that is well to be so. Every profound spirit needs a mask, nay, more, around every profound spirit there continually grows a mask, owing to the constantly false, that is to say, superficial interpretation of every word he utters, every step he takes, every sign of life he manifests."
